Pets kept in prefabricated garages
A pet is a term used for any animal that is kept by people for reasons of companionship and enjoyment, as opposed to an animal that is kept for food or economic reasons. While there are a few distinctive domesticated animals that are well known as being good pets – like cats and dogs – many people also like to keep more exotic animal companions. While there are a few hugely popular pet species – the humble dog and the common cat are definitely at the top of the list – there are many other animals that can also be kept as pets if the right environment is created for them. A recent survey in the United States has shown that even though there are more homes that have dogs in them, there are more cats overall which are being kept as domestic pets. While this pet bias does not look like going away any time soon, many people are becoming more adventurous with their selection of an animal companion.
Keeping more exotic pets does require that more thought goes into their habitation and overall environment however, and this is why many people create entire environments in their garage and garden sheds. People from all over the world are creating dedicated environments for reptiles like the iguana, and many different species of lizards and snakes; and there are even some monkey pets out there in many parts of the world.
Many cities and towns around the world have certain restrictions when it comes to owning pets, based on either the type of pets being kept, or on the number of pets within a single home. Some rental properties ban the keeping of certain pets due to issues relating to noise and odor. People from all over the world love animals, and enjoy keeping them as pets. While it is possible to keep a number of exotic animal species as pets, a lot of thought must be put into the creation of a dedicated environment for them.
